FindSniff is designed to help users scan nearby Bluetooth devices, estimate device proximity, and set alerts to help prevent leaving personal devices behind.
FindSniff does not require users to create an account and does not collect personal identity information such as name, address, phone number, or email address.
The app may scan for nearby Bluetooth devices in order to display available devices and estimate distance or proximity. Device names, signal strength, and related Bluetooth information may be processed locally on your device to provide app functionality.
FindSniff does not claim to access Apple Find My, Google Find My Device, or any third-party device tracking network.
Some operating systems may require location permission to scan nearby Bluetooth devices. FindSniff uses this permission only to enable nearby device scanning and device reminder alerts. We do not use this permission to track your real-time location for advertising or profiling.
Device lists, reminder settings, and alert preferences may be stored locally on your device. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
FindSniff may send notifications when a saved device moves beyond your selected distance or when a reminder alert is triggered.
If the app uses analytics, crash reporting, or app store services, those services may process limited technical information according to their own privacy policies.
FindSniff is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We use reasonable measures to protect app-related information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
